REVIEW: Wonder Woman 1984

Wonder Woman 1984 was everything I had expected it to be, and more.

As a fan of Lynda Carter’s Wonder Woman show in the 70s, especially the second season, I knew I was going to love this. I especially enjoyed the first Wonder Woman installment, so I had high hopes for this one as well...

...and I definitely wasn’t disappointed! 84 was everything I has expected and more. The highlight of the movie was definitely Pedro Pascal’s Max Lord. His character was a blend of humorous and sinister, a perfect villain.

Gal Gadot is the second-best Wonder Woman as always (the first being Lynda Carter, of course). While I still believe her acting is subpar, it is improving over time. Chris Pine is fantastic as always, and Kristin Wiig’s Cheetah is a great addition to the DCEU. Plus that cameo in the post credit scene! Holy shit!

Personally, I enjoyed this more than the first film in the Wonder Woman series. This film was phenomenal for a studio that made the 2017 version of Justice League, so I’m giving this 5 out of 5 stars!
