REVIEW: I Am Groot

What a cute little mini-series!

I Am Groot is an adorable and fun mini-series of shorts that follows everyone’s favorite Guardian of the Galaxy and sentient tree, Groot. The five episodes take about half an hour to watch, with each episode having a small post credit scene. The fifth episode features a small cameo from Rocket Raccoon.

There’s not much to say here, other than the fact that I liked it very much. My favorite short was probably episode three, in which Groot has a dance battle against an intruder who took the same form as him. These shorts, while having some adult jokes in them, are very family-friendly and easy to follow.

No complaints from me, other than wishing that the shorts were longer or wishing there were more shorts- but a season two isn’t outside of the realm of possibility! 4 out of 5 stars.
