REVIEW: WandaVision

WandaVision. Was. Insane.

From the first trailer, I knew that WandaVision was going to be something great. Confusing, but great.

I loved the progression through the decades of sitcoms. The little details of each decade was so special and it made the show so unique. I personally loved the 80’s episode, “On A Very Special Episode...”. It was so nostalgic for me (aside the fact that I’m a 00’s kid) and the familial theme was so heartwarming.

While I think the episode “We Interrupt This Program” was important to the plot and the show’s development, it was the most boring episode in my opinion. While it did have its moments, I just would’ve preferred to keep the focus inside of the Hex than outside.

Now let’s talk Agnes. I had my suspicions as to who Agnes really was since the beginning, considering literally everyone was talking about it. The Agatha Harkness reveal in the eighth episode was a surprise, but not as surprising as it could’ve been.

And the finale! Holy moly!

Wanda’s new outfit, new powers, new everything is just AMAZING! I love her as the Scarlet Witch and I’m so glad that her character has developed so well.

The finale was quite sad. Losing her brother and Vision again, losing her children, losing her perfect life was just another balled up page in the trauma-trash can. I’m glad that the post credit scene showed her that Billy and Tommy are alive in some reality.

The other post credit scene setting up The Marvels was also great! Skrulls are everywhere as it seems, as Talos and his wife were in the post credit scene of Spider-Man: Far From Home.

This show is one of Marvel’s greatest projects yet, and I can’t wait to see Wanda again in Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness! 5 out of 5 stars!
